1. Those who meet Jesus create spaces for others to do the same.

• Read Mark 16:15. Jesus said “go” before He said anything about qualifications, training, or readiness. Who was that command actually given to?
• Who created the space where you met Jesus? Name the person, and name what they actually did to make room for you.
• Whose space are you supposed to be creating right now? Write down a name before you move on.

2. Helping others meet and become followers of Jesus is central to the purpose Jesus has for every one of our lives. If you are looking for your calling, this is it.

• The chapter says nothing God calls you to from here on out will get in the way of this call — everything else becomes a means of supporting it. How does that reframe your job, your gifts, and your plans?
• Have you been waiting to discover your purpose? What exactly have you been waiting for, and what has that waiting cost?
• Name one ordinary part of your week — a table, a shift, a group chat, a drive — that could become a space for someone to meet Jesus. What would you have to change to make it one?

3. Meeting Jesus has a twofold purpose: to reconcile you back to Himself, and to empower and send you out to help others experience the same reconciliation.

• Read Acts 1:8 slowly. What two things does Jesus promise there, and in what order do they come?
• Have you treated meeting Jesus as a destination you arrived at, or as a sending you were commissioned by? Answer honestly.
• If God has already given you supernatural power for this, what are you actually lacking? Have you asked Him for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or have you been asking for courage instead of power?

4. The saints are equipped to do the work of the ministry, and that ministry is creating spaces for people to meet and follow Jesus.

• Read Ephesians 4:11 and Ephesians 4:12 together. Who does the equipping, and who does the work of the ministry? What has to change in a church that gets those two backwards?
• Do you think of yourself as a saint equipped for ministry, or as an audience for somebody else's? Where did that picture of yourself come from?
• The only prayer request Jesus ever made in the Gospels was for laborers (Matthew 9:37–38). Will you pray that this week — and are you willing to be part of the answer?

5. Great grace comes upon those who give witness to the risen Jesus.

• Read Acts 4:33. The great grace rested on them while they were giving witness, not before they started. What does that order mean for the step you have been putting off?
• Jesus said the fields are already white for harvest (John 4:35). Where is a ripe field near you? Name a place and name a person.
• Will you do it? Will you go help somebody meet Him? Say yes or no out loud, and then say what your first step is and when you will take it.
